We will look at the founder of the faith, Jesus Christ himself, what Scripture is and how to read it, as well as what the implications of being a Christian might mean for us. | Baptism & Membership Facilitated by Pastor Richard | The practice of baptism has been a hallmark of the Christian church for over 2,000 years. But how relevant is it today? Why should I get baptized, or “join” a church? During our class we’ll respond to these and other questions and discover together why Jesus commanded us to make disciples and get baptized. | History of the Early Church Facilitated by Pastor Jon | In this course, we will look at the history of the Church from the destruction of the second temple (70AD) to the Council of Ephesus (431AD).
