Drop-In Sports

Our full-size gym is used all week long with a variety of drop-in active sports programs for you to connect with others, stay active, and be part of the community here at Glencairn. Simply come when you can and have fun—you can even invite a friend along or meet some new ones!

Pickleball

Join us for this fun, simple paddle sport that is easy to learn for beginners and provides fast-paced competition for experienced players. We have three courts in the church gym. Pickleball paddles and balls are available to borrow or bring your own along.

Fall 2022: Pickleball returns on September 7. For any changes in play times, subscribe to the newsletter to get updates.

Drop in and play during any of these times for adults 18+, with a suggested donation of $2 per visit:

  • Monday evenings, 7–10pm | Intermediate (new change)
  • Wednesday afternoons, 1:30–4:30pm | Intermediate
  • New! Wednesday evenings, 8:30–10:00 pm | Beginners
  • Friday mornings, 9-12pm | All Level Play

Table Tennis

Monday mornings, 10–11:30am
Cost: FREE

Play table tennis with other adults 18+ every Monday morning from mid-September through May. Bring your own paddle or borrow one and use one of our four tables.

Volleyball

First, third, and fifth Saturday, 10am–12pm
Cost: FREE

Come play a few games on our volleyball court with other youth (13+) and adults on the first, third and fifth Saturday mornings of each month.

Basketball (Young Adults)

Play a game or two of ball with other young adults on Tuesday evenings, 7-9 PM
Cost: FREE
