Biblical Symbolism
Facilitated by Wes R.
Deepen your faith through an exploration of Biblical symbolism through this interactive course.
Our scientific, materialistic worldview often blinds us to the spiritual wisdom found in the Scriptures. But the ancient biblical worldview is not in conflict with modern science – both perspectives are necessary. The archaic patterns of heaven, earth, space and time first encountered in Genesis are repeated through the Bible and reflected in all of reality. Based on the book The Language of Creation by Matthieu Pageau.  Sign up for this class
Navigating End-of-Life Challenges Facilitated by Vic T.How do Christians faithfully and compassionately journey with loved ones who are struggling with serious and challenging life situations? This course will delve into the sanctity of life from a biblical perspective, in light of our current cultural values and choices at the end of life.
GuestsDon McNiven from the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada will come one week and speak on MAID and give a theological framework of faithful care for the vulnerable. During another week, Philip Serez, diagnosed with ALS, will present his experience of living fully with a terminal illness.
