| Not Just for Caregivers Facilitated by Sylvia C. | How do we follow the biblical call to care for one another as members of Christ’s body, cultivating a lifestyle of compassion, encouragement, and practical support? Through teaching, discussion, and skill-building, participants will develop practical ways to care well for their church family and community, learning to live out the “one another” commands of Scripture with confidence and grace. | Biblical Symbolism Facilitated by Wes R. | The goal of this interactive course is to deepen your faith through an exploration of Biblical symbolism. Our scientific, materialistic worldview often blinds us to the spiritual wisdom found in the Scriptures. But the ancient biblical worldview is not in conflict with modern science—both perspectives are necessary. The patterns of heaven, earth, space, and time found in Genesis are repeated throughout the Bible and reflected in all of reality. This course is slightly modified from a previous Lunch & Learn and is based on material from Matthieu & Jonathan Pageau. Sign up for this class | |
