| Women in Ministry Leadership Facilitated by Pastor Connie & Sandra R. | Reading the Bible together can be a beautiful experience—and sometimes a challenging one. Across history, faithful Christians have wrestled with how to understand Scripture, especially when it comes to topics where interpretations differ. One of the most discussed of these is the role of women in church leadership. We’ll explore how we interpret Scripture and how Jesus and the Apostle Paul interacted with and spoke about women. This class is perfect for anyone who has ever wondered: – Why do Christians sometimes come to different conclusions on the same passage? – What did Jesus’ ministry show us about the value and calling of women? – How do Paul’s words fit into the bigger story of the early church? – How can we read Scripture faithfully while also honouring one another’s perspectives? Come to learn, discuss, and grow in community. High school students and adults are welcome. Sign up for this class. | |
| Engaging with Artificial Intelligence Facilitated by Joseph W. | Artificial intelligence is reshaping how we work, communicate, and make decisions, and it’s crucial we understand what it is and isn’t. This session invites us to explore the topic of AI through discussion and demonstration, covering its uses, how it works, and the ethical questions that it raises. High school students and adults are welcome. Sign up for this class | |

| Tools to Support Your Ministry Facilitated by Emily L. | Are you part of the leadership of a ministry team and would like to be more familiar with the resources you have available to you? Through this series, we’ll explore tools that can help you be more effective in your ministry work, from setting up your Glencairn email address, using sign-up forms, accessing the church directory and photocopier, to submitting expenses, creating content, and sharing your vision beyond your ministry team. You’ll have opportunities to try it out, so we encourage you to take notes and bring a laptop (or tablet) for the first three weeks if you have one. We will be joining the AI course in the second week to learn about some tools that you can use in ministry. During the final week, a registered nurse will go over some basic first aid training, including how to use an AED, so you can be equipped to respond in a medical emergency. Sign up for this class | |
