January Update

January Update

Because of current province-wide shutdown guidelines, our Sunday services and gatherings will be online only at this time. We hope to resume our in-person Sunday services as these restrictions ease, and in the meantime, we invite you to join us online on Sunday morning at 10:15 am from the comfort of your own home or whenever you may be. If you need any assistance in getting set up and connected, contact us and we will be happy to help.

Because of the provincial COVID-19 lockdown, the Bridges Centre is also temporarily closed for the month of January. We hope to reopen on Saturday, February 13, and plan to accept requests for appointments starting on February 1. Please visit glencairn.ca/bridges after January 24 for updated information. If you or someone you know has an immediate need for emergency food, visit thefoodbank.ca/vitalservice.

These verses from the book of Romans, as written by the apostle Paul, served as encouragement and a great reminder for us at the start of the pandemic, and it continues to ring true today:

35Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

Romans 8:35, 37

Whether you’ve been joining us or thinking of connecting with us online or in person, we look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you for your continued understanding and support as we navigate through these seasons of change, and may you be filled with the hope and love of Jesus this year!
