As our province is facing a third wave of COVID impacts and further restrictions to gathering limits, the current sermon series Hope for Mental Health can’t seem to come at a better time as many people’s mental health has been impacted in many ways this past year.
Mental health is a complex topic that affects all of who we are: bodies, minds and spirits. We invite you to come along with us as we look into Scripture and receive God’s healing message of love, hope, purpose and belonging on Sunday at 10:15 am (note: our Sunday Services will be online only until we can safely return to in-person services again). Missed a sermon message? Watch it again anytime.
Our friend, Sandra, shared her experience about her journey with mental health and wellness with us last Sunday and reminds us that we’re not alone. We’ve also included some mental health resources below where you can find support for yourself or a loved one.
I had this feeling like I was walking through my life underwater, you know that slow feeling when you’re walking underwater. God, in His mercy, brought me out of my depression, but not overnight. – Sandra R.
