Children & Youth Ministry
Glencairn Church exists to reach up to God, reach in to each other, and reach out to the world God loves. Short overview of children & youth ministry.
Children are a huge value at Glencairn. We strive to offer fun, save and spiritually enriching environment for children of all ages.
What to expect during BLAST (Bible Learning and Spiritual Training) for ages 2-grade 8
Children start in the service during the worship time and are dismissed to their classes part-way through the service for their BLAST teaching time.
In BLAST they learn Bible stories, sing songs, do crafts and learn that we are all Gods children.
We follow Plan-To-Protect guidelines. Please check-in your children age0 to SK in their classroom, where you will receive a Parent Tag to be handed in when picking up your child after the service. If your children need you during the service we will come find you.
Loving arms are waiting to care for babies age 0-2. Nursery is available for the the duration of the entire service.

Our Junior Youth group, or as we call ourselves ‘Six Seventy-Eight’, is a group of grade 6, 7 and 8 students who are looking to learn more about themselves, each other and God. We are learning to support each other as well as the community around us.
Epoch, the Senior Youth Group, is made up of grade 9–12 students who are looking to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in a real and authentic way. We aim to have a loving and accepting environment as we look to welcome youth from all different walks of life.
The Vine is Glencairn’s young adults group. We are a Life Group that meets at the church every Sunday evening 7:00–9:30. We mostly just hang out and eat snacks together, but this is also a place to ask some of the bigger questions like, ‘Is God relevant today?’, ‘What is our purpose?’ and ‘How can I know God?’ The Vine is an open and safe place to explore these questions for anyone who is curious or just wants to hang around.
