What Is It?


The Bridges Centre is a place that provides non-perishable food and used clothing for free to meet the growing needs of our community.
Where Is It?
It is located at Glencairn Church - 725 Erinbrook Drive, Kitchener, ON - in the east wing. It can be reached by bus routes #3 Ottawa and #12 Fairview or Conestoga.
When Is It Open?
The Centre is open every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Dates for 2009 are: January 10 & 24, February 14 & 28, March 14 & 28, April 25, May 9 & 23, June 13 & 27, July 11 & 25, August 8 & 22, September 12 & 26, October 10 & 24, November 14 & 28 and December 12.
The Centre may be accessed twelve times a year. You may come at your time of need or once a month. There is no charge. Coffee and cookies will be served while waiting for your turn.
Make A Donation
You also may want to donate. Please drop off non-perishable food in the Bridges Centre bins located inside the right-hand entrance of the church. Call before you come to make sure the building is open (579-8741).
The Bridges Centre is a member of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
